Why Do We Fundraise?

School fundraising has long been a necessity to provide our children with "extras" like field trips, special assemblies, sports programs, etc. Now, with our state budget crisis, education has suffered further cuts, and fundraising will now be necessary for such necessities as classroom supplies, art programs, PE equipment, and books for our library, and many other things which we consider crucial to providing our children with a good education.

Our committee developed the following criteria for fundraising events:

  • Make it fun
  • Create opportunities for students to contribute and not solicit
  • Foster partnerships with local businesses that have a stake in our community
