Why Do We Fundraise?
School fundraising has long been a necessity to provide our children with "extras" like field trips, special assemblies, sports programs, etc. Now, with our state budget crisis, education has suffered further cuts, and fundraising will now be necessary for such necessities as classroom supplies, art programs, PE equipment, and books for our library, and many other things which we consider crucial to providing our children with a good education.
Our committee developed the following criteria for fundraising events:
- Make it fun
- Create opportunities for students to contribute and not solicit
- Foster partnerships with local businesses that have a stake in our community
Fundraise While You Shop
We are pleased to announce that Jim Bridger PTA has joined the Amazon School Rewards Associates program, an effortless way for you to help us fundraise, simply by shopping at Amazon.com. Use our School Rewards link to access Amazon.com. Through School Rewards, we receive up to 10 percent of every Amazon purchase as long as shoppers use our School Rewards link to access Amazon.
Please support us by bookmarking this link in your Internet browser — then making it the first link you click each time you shop at Amazon. And be sure to pass it on to your friends, family, neighbors, acquaintances, and anyone else who might like to help us raise funds by shopping at Amazon. Thank you for your support. We appreciate your contribution to our student programs and fundraising efforts.
